Adelina Ong is a partner at Meridian Partners with more than 20 years’ experience advising developers, investors, business owners and overseas purchasers. Her legal practice focuses on property, commercial and trust matters.
Experience
Admitted in 2001, Adelina has practised in New Zealand and Queensland, Australia, in private practice and as in-house counsel for a national property development and project management company. Before joining Meridian Partners, she ran her own specialist property practice for seven years.
Her property work includes development and subdivision projects, acquisitions and disposals, due diligence, commercial leasing, Overseas Investment Office applications, unit title matters, easements, covenants, cross leases, title issues and property ownership structures.
Commercial and trust work
Adelina also advises private and corporate clients on business acquisitions and disposals, commercial agreements, franchises and ownership structures. Her trust and estate-planning work includes trusts, wills and enduring powers of attorney. She coordinates with clients’ financiers, surveyors, tax advisers, planners and local authorities where a matter requires it.
